They made their debut on the label in 2015 with Madness, another commercial success that added high-octane tracks like "Kick Me" and "We Like it Loud" to the band’s livewire sets on tour. Sleeping with Sirens formed in Orlando, FL in the late ’00s and found a fast following thanks to their aggressive yet accessible sound and the singular leggero tenor voice of frontman Kellin Quinn. The whirlwind of energy he unleashes is matched blow for blow by the rest of the band, who take things to the next level with scorching guitar riffs, chugging bass, and galloping drums that leave ticket buyers thoroughly rocked and ready for more. It’s an otherworldly voice unlike any other, and Quinn gives it room to breathe in concert, nailing acrobatic vocal passages while thrashing around the stage like a hurricane with a mic.

Before I went to the concert, I was studying the lyrics to their popular songs so I can sing along. I love the lead singer’s (Kellin Quinn) voice and style. The first song I heard from them was If You Can’t Hang, which they performed at the concert. The rest of the band played flawlessly through the songs and made it exciting. Their music features heavy guitar riffs as well as fast sweeping guitar leads that are layered over the thunderous sounds of the drums. The band features members of other post-hardcore bands like Broadway, For All We Know, and Paddock Park, which meant that the members were already experienced musicians before formation. The album, Produced by Will Yip (Turnstile, Circa Survive, Movements), the new record represents both a homecoming and a reckoning for them as they revive the restless spirit of their classic sound with the nuanced experience of recent years.

Sleeping With Sirens Presale Tickets & Codes

This has been my favorite concert I’ve attended so far, and I would love to go back and do it all over again. The entire band was energetic and really getting into it. They have toured with many well-regarded bands within their genre such as Breathe Carolina, Memphis May Fire, and Pierce the Veil.

Out of all the concerts I’ve been to, I’m happy to say these guys were some of the only bands that sound like they do on their CDs. The band, Kellin Quinn vocals, Nick Martin guitar, Justin Hills bass, Matty Best drums, and newest addition Tony Pizzuti guitar, continues to hone its signature sound while boldly exploring new creative frontiers.
